My approach to therapy is rooted in meeting individuals where they are, rather than imposing where or how they should be. This humanistic, client-centered approach is based on a strength-based perspective. I firmly believe that clients are the experts in their own lives and that seeking help requires great strength, especially when they are truly ready. While I enjoy working with people of all ages, I have a particular affinity for children, adolescents, and young adults, who represent especially meaningful populations to me. I am committed to being an advocate for those who may feel unheard and playing a supportive role in each client’s journey toward self-improvement. Please know that my office is a safe space where you can express your thoughts and feelings freely, and be vulnerable. I encourage you to be yourself, and if you’re still discovering who that is, I am honored to help you find out!

Howdy there! I’m proud of you for making the courageous choice to pursue therapy. As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community myself, I have a profound understanding of the unique challenges and celebrations that come along when navigating this wonderfully diverse spectrum of identities. Although I have only walked parts of this path myself, I am intentional at creating a safe, affirming, and judgment-free space where you can be your authentic self. Having worked extensively with populations struggling with loneliness and isolation, I’ve witnessed the transformative power of human connection. This experience has reinforced my belief that every individual deserves a haven where they can unapologetically be their authentic selves and embark on the empowering journey of exploring their unique stories.

I bring fresh learning experiences and the valuable guidance of dedicated supervisors. My therapeutic approach is firmly rooted in collaboration and a deep respect for your unique needs and desires. I use an integrative approach that draws from various theories, such as person-centered, empowerment, and mindfulness. Ensuring that your journey is guided by evidence-based practices and a genuine commitment to your well-being. My goal is to nurture a therapeutic alliance that empowers you to effectively navigate the obstacles life presents, foster your resilience, and uncover the innate strengths that reside within you.

Your well-being is at the forefront of our work together, and I am here to support you every step of the way.

My approach is based on years of experience working with children and adolescents who struggle with trauma and attachment issues. I have learned that the most important aspect of therapy is creating a safe space so that people can heal. I have expanded my skills to include adults and couples which I have enjoyed tremendously and want to continue to grow as a clinician in these areas. My goal is to meet you where you’re at and to help guide you in creating goals for your personal growth journey.

I have training in EMDR trauma therapy and am a certified addictions counselor.

I look forward to meeting you and creating a space to learn and grow together!

My approach to counseling is an integrative one that incorporates aspects of person-centered, cognitive-behavioral, and existential therapy. Counseling is a way that you can work through difficult periods of your life, learn to manage symptoms of anxiety, depression, trauma, and other conditions, and explore new ways to solve problems in your life. I am committed to working with all of my clients in a nonjudgmental manner to pursue meaning and joy in their lives. I emphasize providing a safe space for clients where they can feel comfortable working through any problems they are experiencing. The counseling relationship is the basis for the growth and change that occurs throughout the counseling process. I look forward to working with you as you grow and change as a person.
