Our intake coordinator is here to help connect you with the right therapist for your goals! When you contact us, we will learn a bit about what is bringing you to therapy, as well as your availability and preference for a therapist. Our therapist will reach out to you for a consultation call, and if you feel comfortable, you can schedule an appointment. In the meantime, we’ll verify your benefits to determine if you are covered by insurance and if you have any out-of-pocket costs for your sessions.

First off, welcome and congratulations on taking action to prioritize yourself! Therapy looks different for everyone, but in general, you can expect your therapist will want to learn about you and your goals for therapy. Your therapist is curious to know who you are and what’s important to you. Therapy can feel awkward at times and, like any relationship, it can take time to feel comfortable. It’s ok to talk to your therapist about your expectations for therapy.
Therapy is, and should be, a confidential space. There are exceptions to this – specifically, if your therapist has reason to believe you are a danger to yourself or someone else, or if a vulnerable person or a child is in danger. In these situations, your therapist has a duty to report. Otherwise, everything you say in therapy stays between you and your therapist.
Yes! We are here to help and we commend you for taking this step in your personal growth, regardless of what brought you here.
It’s a brave thing to bring yourself back to therapy when you’ve been hurt before. If this is your situation, we first want to congratulate you on being brave enough to explore therapy again. Like any relationship, it can take time to feel safe. It’s okay to talk about this with your therapist and, together, you can explore ways to make therapy feel more manageable. It is also okay to feel it out, ask questions, and go at a pace that feels manageable for you.
